The Head and Neck Cancer Center at the Oncology Center of Magdeburg University Medical Center offers all patients with tumors in the head and neck region the opportunity for rapid diagnosis and optimal, individualized treatment. We place the patient at the center of our care, and an experienced interdisciplinary team, supported by state-of-the-art technical equipment, provides support to our patients and their families. Using the latest technologies, medications, and surgical procedures, we offer patients all evidence-based treatment options in accordance with the most current scientific standards.

To improve treatment, the Center for Head and Neck Tumors participates in clinical trials in which patients may participate in certain cases. Close interdisciplinary collaboration with our partner departments—including speech therapy/phoniatrics, nutritional medicine, social services, and psycho-oncology—enables holistic and individualized patient care. Professional exchange and close collaboration with referring physicians and external partners are also very important in this regard.
